Safety and the law
A current shotgun certificate must be shown every time cartridges are purchased.

A current firearms certificate must be updated every time for ammunition purchases.

When a firearm is sold or repaired, to go off the premises it has to be in a case or gunslip, as they are not allowed off the premises uncovered by law.

Air rifles, air pistols and knives can not be sold to anyone under 18 years old, this also applies to pellets including plastic ball bearings.

When you are shooting
Hearing protection must be worn at every time you shoot, and it is now compulsory to wear eye protection.

The gun should always be open and empty when you move from one peg to another when you are trap shooting.

You do not load the gun until you are on the stand in Sporting clay shooting, the gun is either open or being carried in a gunslip.

For duck shooting you should only use non-toxic shot, NOT lead. We sell Bismuth or steel catridges for duck shooting.
